A freelance writer I will be...well, hopefully :)

Aside from looking for earning opportunities in blogging, I've also tried applying for home-based writing jobs.  I passed several applications online and I'm very happy that I passed the first step on the application process on one of the writing opportunities i applied to.

Although the full-time writing position would yield more income, I'd go first with the freelance writing job since it would give me more freedom in terms of the work hours and topics to choose from.  And besides, I have household chores and other online opportunities to attend to, so I don't want to cram my schedule and not be able to do what I need to do.  I still want to provide more time for my kids than on my online tasks.

Nevertheless, I'm thankful that I'm getting these opportunities that would be helpful not just in our finances but would also be helpful in honing my writing skills.  Hope that I pass the final step process. :)
