It's my birthday today and I just received birthday greetings on Facebook from friends and it made me happy knowing that my special day is remembered. I'm turning 32 today and though my age is no longer part of the calendar days, well, as what my nephew jokingly said, "There's still the lotto numbers." (lol!)
I'm always happy every time it's my birthday. More than the warm greetings I've received and that I'll be receiving from friends and family, I am happy because I am blessed to have another year added to my life - another year that I know will be full of love, happiness and learning. I'm not expecting much today - just to be with my family is enough a celebration for me. My kids had already planned where we'd go today but I don't know if their Dad would agree. Well, their idea is usually to eat and play games at the arcade so it's more of a treat for them than for me (lol!).
Wishes? Well, I think a healthy and long life for me is what I wish for today, so that I could spend more time with my family, especially my children, and so that I can continue to be a blessing to them and to others.
