Like most bloggers, I'd also like to host a giveaway as way of thanking my readers/ followers and fellow bloggers who made my passion for blogging thrive even more (and also for putting up with my boring posts - Lol!) I officially turned 1 as a blogger last month (July) but I'm planning to have the giveaway probably by December to make it as a Christmas, Thanksgiving and last-hurrah-for-the-year giveaway all rolled into one. And also, I'm planning to send out mini gifts to the first few followers and friends I made when I was just starting out as a blogger and to reward my meme participants, too. So, yes, those are my plans for the giveaway. Now where do I start?
I'm not really earning that much with my blogs, so there's my first dilemma: moolah. Well, it's possible to ask help from sponsors/fellow bloggers so I guess that pretty much solves it, but I'd like to get help on that sponsorship package thingy - on what I can give back in exchange for their help with the prizes. I want it something to be worth their help. Any ideas?
Then there's the items/ prizes for giveaway - what are the tangible things that would be nice to give away? Would cash prizes alone be enough or would giving out items be okay, too? Well, I think I can pretty much handle the mechanics for the giveaway and try not to make it hard for the participants.
This is the first time I'm hosting a giveaway so I want to make it as successful as possible. So I'm calling out to all the experts in holding contests out there to give your suggestions. I'd really appreciate your help in my giveaway. :)

para sakin, cash nlng kasi mabibili nila lahat ng gsto nla by cash pede ring material things pero make sure na mggustuhan xa in general. about sa sponsors, pde mo rn ipalike sa contestants ung fb page nla or follow them through this and that. that would work :) Goodluck po sa giveaway :)
ReplyDeletei would rather have a giveaway with prizes.. im staying away from cash since a lot of people are doing it already. i also want to host a giveaway that is close to my heart. like something you really believe in :)

I think something from unique from your area or expertise is preferable to cash.
