Naranja Coffee and Canvas Bags was born with a simple goal of marketing BARAKO coffee as its prime brand and using canvas fabric as its packaging, making use of regular materials to make it different and unique; a kind of packaging that creates the traditional Filipino BARAKO coffee feel with a little pinch of contemporary. Our coffee is authentic and comes from the place where BARAKO coffee is deep-seated in Lipa, Batangas, for we would like to take part in promoting Liberica Coffee/Kapeng Barako to help revive our local coffee industry. Sadly, the demand for BARAKO is quite low compared with Arabica and Robusta.
Selling coffee is just one part of the business as we are also inclined to create functional art by means of various types of bags and other knick-knacks by up cycling a variety of materials (canvas, catcha, flour and jute sacks, etc.) to make it chic and fun. The designs and prints that we put on our bags are still limited to direct-to-fabric (silkscreen) printing as we are still in the process of expanding.
